Senior DevOps / AWS Cloud Engineer
We are looking for a Senior DevOps / AWS Cloud Engineer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in automating, scaling, and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, has deep AWS expertise, and a passion for automation, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline implementation. You will be part of the digital transformation journey at Ajman Free Zone Port, delivering mission-critical infrastructure for scalable applications.
- Design and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Atlantis.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions with CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and New Relic.
- Support GitOps workflows using GitHub, GitLab, and ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and security.
- Manage system reliability, incident response, and performance tuning.
- Handle cloud security policies, IAM roles, and secret management.
- Perform automated backups and ensure business continuity through DR simulations.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks.
- Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers in best practices and tooling.
- Maintain documentation for architecture, operational runbooks, and workflows.
- Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments where applicable.
- Contribute to the internal tooling ecosystem and DevOps knowledge base.
